With the Female Founders Trade Mission to Silicon Valley fast approaching, we take a closer look at the event and its significance.
What is the Female Founders Trade Mission?
Organised by London & Partners and Silicon Valley Comes to the UK, the trade mission will see UK-based companies touring Silicon Valley with a jam-packed schedule including everything from networking events through to knowledge sharing sessions with some of the leading names in the tech space. Later in the year, the tables will turn and a group of entrepreneurs from America will visit London for a reciprocal mission.
Who else is going?
Recordsure will be among 15 of London’s fastest-growing women-led tech companies. The mission is part of the #BehindEveryGreatCity campaign launched by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, geared towards fighting for gender equality and championing women’s roles in business. Representing the UK are some of London’s most exciting high-growth and disruptive tech organisations.
When is it?
The mission will take place from 8 – 12 May.
Why we’re so excited
The Female Founders Trade Mission offers a special opportunity to share knowledge and ideas with some of the most dynamic business leaders to come out of Silicon Valley. At Recordsure, we’ve always strived to innovate, and ventures like these bring like-minded people together and create an environment that naturally promotes fresh thinking.
The business challenges faced overseas are often similar to those faced closer to home, and it is fascinating to learn about the different approaches being adopted. With so many solutions now tech driven and universally applicable regardless of geography or borders, international networking opportunities like this are more valuable than ever.
