They say that three is a magic number: Joanne Smith has been honoured three times in just seven days for the impact she is having in the tech industry.
The founder and Group CEO of Recordsure and TCC has been named in the Women in Fintech Powerlist, asked to join the panel discussing The Founder Journey at #ACCELERATERegTech and won the Entrepreneur award in the FDM everywoman in Technology Awards.
In the same week as International Women’s Day, the accolades also coincide with Recordsure’s announcement of an alliance with KPMG in Australia. This is a significant step for the organisation representing the start of its international expansion.
There is huge potential to transform the Australian financial services sector, where Recordsure’s solution is perfectly placed to tackle many of the core issues highlighted in the recent Royal Commission.
Speaking from Sydney, Joanne reflected:
“What a fabulous week – I feel so flattered to have been associated with these fantastic initiatives. I would like to thank the teams at TCC and Recordsure for all the hard work that has gone in to get us where we are today: they deserve recognition for the huge strides we are taking collectively as a group.”
Congratulating Joanne, Recordsure CEO Joe Norburn commented:
“We are all so proud of Joanne. Recordsure owes its success not just to her pioneering spirit in creating the solution at the start but to the tireless work she does day in, day out to keep us ahead of the curve. I am delighted she is getting recognition for her huge contributions to the industry: I can think of no-one more deserving.”
